Pharmacy Technician/Project Coordinator

Med-ERRS, a medication safety company serving pharmaceutical companies and other healthcare industries, based in suburban Philadelphia, is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Technician/Project Coordinator. This individual will work with a team of medication safety healthcare professionals to assist with projects related to Med-ERRS safety-related services. This role involves many different functions, including coordination of projects and activities and proactively anticipating upcoming needs of the team.

The Pharmacy Technician/Project Coordinator will:

  • Prepare electronic and paper surveys for client projects,
  • Organize and prepare for expert group data analysis sessions,
  • Participate in project analysis,
  • Update and maintain project databases and project files,
  • Participate in researching information related to certain client projects as needed  
  • Interact with pharmaceutical company clients
  • Perform other general administrative tasks required by Med-ERRS personnel

The Pharmacy Technician/Project Coordinator must:

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Take initiative and be able to adjust to changing priorities
  • Be highly organized and adept at multi-tasking
  • Be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and be able to follow-up independently
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Have excellent computer skills

Requirements: Candidate must have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree a plus. Candidate must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (preferred) or have extensive pharmacy technician experience, preferably a minimum of 3-5 years experience. He/she must have knowledge in reading and interpreting medication orders (i.e., pharmacy data entry), and should have extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical products and basic therapeutics.
